The BLT Trio (Keoni Bolding, Peter Lockman & Seth Trumbore) returns for another concert of music for violin, cello and piano. They are a favorite here a COHS and we are happy to welcome them back!

Keoni Bolding, Violin: Recently named artist-in-residence of the Southeast Iowa Symphony, Keoni Bolding is only 20, but has soloed in major American venues such as Carnegie Hall (New York) and the Kennedy Center (Washington DC). An avid chamber musician, Keoni has performed at the US Capitol and Italy’s National Gallery of Ancient Art with Rome Chamber Music Festival as a featured young artist. Keoni is also a passionate orchestral musician and served as concertmaster of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra. This summer, Keoni attended the Aspen Music Festival as a fellowship recipient, sharing the stage with Renee Fleming, and Robert Spano, among others. He is a junior at Robert McDuffie Center for Strings where he studies with David Kim, Concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra. When not at school, he enjoys helping his parents and brother raise dairy goats on their family farm in Pennsylvania.
Peter Lockman, Cello: Having grown up in a musical family, Peter Lockman began playing the cello at age 4, performing with his family’s Irish band. This began his exploration of music of other cultures, culminating in his participating in SilkRoad’s Global Musician Workshop. Recipient of the Edward W. & Lillian B. Wilson Scholarship, twice he collaboratively won the SATORI Chamber Music Competition and was a winner of the DePauw Concerto Competition for three consecutive years. While enrolled at DePauw University, he performed in Germany, Austria, England and the White House. In February, Peter performed alongside members of the NYPhil, Philadelphia Orchestra, and others at Carnegie Hall as a part of Music for Life International, a charity organization providing free cataract surgery in developing countries. Peter is currently pursuing his masters in cello performance at the Jacobs School of Music where he has acted as principal cellist of three separate orchestras. His teachers have included Eric Kim, Eric Edberg, Deborah Davis, and Michael Mermagen.
Seth Trumbore, Piano: Seth received his B.M. in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from Temple University where he studied with Harvey Wedeen. His graduation honors include the Jacobs Music Company Steinway Award and the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges Award. After receiving chamber music training from the Settlement Music School under Sidney and Shirley Curtiss, Seth has become very passionate about collaboration and is active in the community assisting soloists and various musical organizations. He currently serves as Assistant Organist at Church of the Holy Spirit in Harleysville, as a Staff Pianist at Westminster Choir College and teaches piano privately at the Trappe Community Music School.
