The Prayer Chain Ministry is composed of a group of parishioners who independently pray daily for those in the congregation, their families and friends in their time of need. Prayer requests are kept confidential. Prayers may be for healing, for the repose of the soul of someone who has died, for strength for those in a crisis, or for any situation needing intercession. Prayers of thanksgiving are also welcomed. Prayers will be said for a one month period and will then be removed unless you request an additional 30-day extension. If the person is a member of our congregation or has a family member with a serious illness such as Cancer, they will be kept on until further notice. Requests for a friend with Cancer who is not a member of our congregation will be kept for one year. We ask that we have periodic updates on anyone that is kept on the Prayer Chain for an extended period. You can contact Eleanor Yodis if you are interested in joining or learning more about this ministry.
