I have been a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit (COHS) since the summer of 1999. I served on the Mission Committee from 2000-2007. In 2001, the Rev. Anne Ritchings asked me to be the Vicar’s Warden; on September 11, 2001, Rev. Ritchings announced she would be retiring for medical reasons. I served as Vicar’s Warden during the long search process which resulted in the calling of the Rev. Kathryn Andonian in 2004; at her request, I continued as the Vicar’s Warden for several more years. I have the honor of being the 1st Verger at COHS, serving in that capacity since 2005. In addition, I am a lector, chalice bearer, and acolyte; and conduct the training, as needed for new Eucharistic Lay Ministers. I was a member of the church’s Finance Committee, and an Ex-Officio member to the Vestry.
I was a delegate to the Valley Forge Deanery/Diocesan Convention for 9 years; and was tone of the Deanery representatives to Diocesan Council for 5 years. I have been a member of the Diocesan Budget Committee for 7 years.
I retired from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission in January 2009, and retired from the US Navy Reserve in December 1992. Currently, I provide consulting services to the nuclear industry.
